Job Description
Atlas Magnetics is looking for a motivated Materials Engineer to join our team in Ukraine. In this role, you will support the development and testing of materials for various applications, contributing to innovative projects to ensure maximum yield and to strengthen AM’s reputation of quality. Candidates should have the curiosity to understand and document every aspect of the assigned process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize electro-chemical processes to balance performance and quality standards.
- Conduct experiments to discern process variables and operational ranges.
- Analyze test data and prepare reports to communicate findings.
- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing process efficiency and yield.
- Characterize material performance and perform statistical controls.
- Write appropriate documentation (data sheets, process specifications and work instructions).
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings to discuss project progress and material-related challenges.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Supervision of operational quality control processes.
Required Skills and Experience
Must possess/demonstrate the following:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills and team project experience.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Recommended/Desired Skills:
-Internship experience in Materials Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with magnetic materials.
- English proficiency.
